Dr. Mohamed Infas earned his PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of St Andrews, UK, in 2011, followed by a postdoctoral research appointment at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia. He later expanded his international research footprint through a position in the Department of Physical and Macromolecular Chemistry at Charles University in Prague. Dr. Infas joined Khalifa University in 2020 as a Senior Lecturer and is now an Assistant Professor. His research centers on the design and synthesis of advanced functional solid-state materials, with a particular emphasis on Metal–Organic Frameworks (MOFs) and MXenes.
