Biography

Liubov P. Myasnikova graduated from Leningrad Polytechnical Institute (1961), Faculty of Radiophysics and Dielectrics. From 1961 to the present, she has been working at the A.F. Ioffe Physical-Technical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Department of Fracture Physics, earned a PhD at Ioffe Institute (1973). She currently works at this world renowned Ioffe institute as the leading scientist, where a main field of study is the structure/property relationships in polymers (mechanical, thermodynamic, electrical properties a.o.). She was the member of the Scientific Council at Ioffe Institute in a period of 1993-1998. She was awarded the Frenkel Prize for outstanding work in physics, Russian Academy of Sciences. (2014).
